Dr Costanza PretiCostanza Preti, PhD, is an honorary research associate in the Department of Culture, Communication and Media at UCL Institute of Education and a Research Associate at the International Music Education Research Centre (iMerc). She holds a master in music education, a master in research methods, and a doctorate of philosophy from the Institute of Education, University of London. Her research focuses on music and health and was funded by the UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Wingate Foundation. She has worked on seven major research evaluation projects including those sponsored by the Italian and English departments for Education. She has been editorial assistant and reviews editor for Psychology of Music (Sage). From 2014 to 2015 she was appointed as postdoctoral research fellow in the Centre for the Arts as Wellbeing, University of Winchester, UK.
